“Atelier della salute: experiences, paths, solutions for living better!” is the event scheduled in Naples on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 September. Organized by the School of Medicine and Surgery and the Federico II University Hospital, the event aims to try to answer some questions that are frequently asked about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. “Together against false myths” is the title of the inaugural ceremony, which will take place on the morning of the 22nd in the great hall of the University Hospital hosted by Rai Uno Mattina journalist Chiara Del Gaudio. After the institutional greetings, a speech is scheduled by geologist and science communicator Mario Tozzi, senior researcher at the CNR who recently presented his latest book, “Paure Fuori Luogo”, a text that explores collective fears. Following, the round table “Nutrition, movement and psychological well-being: let's team up against false myths! Towards an inter-institutional network”. “Rules and prohibitions are not enough, we need to find new solutions together”: this is the motto of the project that has seen a large scientific commission involved in the creation of a program that represents an absolute novelty in the Campania panorama. “All the activities are linked by a common goal: to combat false myths – underlines Califano – From the Mediterranean diet to nutraceuticals, from sports in adults and children to the awareness of one’s emotions”. “We have thought of experiential paths – explains the General Manager of the Company, Vincenzo Viggiani – that allow visitors to learn, experiment, have fun and learn simple and replicable gestures that can become virtuous habits to take care of themselves and their loved ones”. “We have created an intense multidisciplinary team effort – specifies Cesare Formisano, who is entrusted with the scientific-organizational coordination – that puts the citizen at the center and brings him back to the dimension of the agora to look at health and well-being with new eyes”. “Atelier della salute – adds Alessandra Dionisio, head of the Po Press Office - Communication of the Company – intends to offer the opportunity to reduce the obstacles to the adoption of healthy lifestyles through a communicative dimension that favors the relationship between health professionals and citizens”. The event is aimed at all citizens of Campania, families, over 65s, students. Interactive workshops are planned; experiential paths, divided into about thirty stands; show cooking; high-tech area; free specialist medical visits. During the event there will also be the awards ceremony of the food contest “Mediterranean Diet? Yes, thank you”, promoted by the Policlinico Federico II and the Italian Food Blogger Association in partnership with Ballarini, a historic brand of kitchen utensils that has always promoted good and healthy cuisine.
