The woman who this morning, driving a Passat, allegedly hit a group of cyclists in Civitanova Marche, seriously injuring one of them, has been identified by the Carabinieri. She is a 26-year-old Romanian, a dancer in local clubs, who was probably returning from one of the nightclubs where she performs this morning. The woman had already been stopped for a check a few days ago. Through a series of cross-checks, the police traced her. The 26-year-old lives in a condominium in Porto Sant'Elpidio (Fermo), where her car was found parked with clear signs of the accident. When the Carabinieri rang the doorbell of her apartment, the young woman admitted that she had been the one driving the car that hit her. She was reported at large for negligent injury, failure to provide assistance and fleeing after the accident.
