The motorcyclist, after a few minutes of agony, died on the asphalt. The accident occurred between Pescopagano and Castelgrande. Like every weekend, Antonio had gone out with friends for an afternoon in Basilicata and then returned home. The motorbike was his greatest passion.

Fiorillo's friends were interviewed, who reported the presence of a car in the area and, to avoid the impact, the 32-year-old ended up off the road. The alarm was raised by his traveling companions who immediately understood the gravity of the situation: Antonio was not conscious, he was not answering questions. The intervention of 118 was useless. Fiorillo died a few meters from his motorcycle, in a sea of tears from his friends. A coroner, appointed by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Potenza, performed the external examination. It will be the prosecutor who decides whether to release the body or proceed with an autopsy. Antonio, a resident of Campagna, leaves behind his father, an entrepreneur, his mother, a school secretary and a sister to whom he was very close. There is currently no funeral date.
