“It is easy to make statements when you have received a law from the State, a measure approved by parliament with the confidence that gave Eav 600 million. And it does not seem to me that the company is doing well. With that amount we are not only saving Anm but the Municipality of NAPLES and with 60 million, one zero less than Eav, the company becomes a little gem”. Luigi de Magistris, mayor of NAPLES, explains this, speaking of the crisis of public transport in the city. The question to RepubblicaTv was posed to the mayor by Stefano Caldoro, former governor of Campania. “He is a person who always uses institutional courtesy even in his critical positions…”, comments the former PM, referring to the current president of the Region, Vincenzo De Luca. “But I do not want to create controversy – he adds – because I went to sit at Palazzo Santa Lucia even after strong statements”. For the mayor, the Anm issue “will be closed soon. This will be a decisive month and I think that by the Immaculate Conception long weekend we will know what will happen to the Anm company”.
