Naples. They were waiting for their prey to rob, but they were discovered. Five people were arrested in Naples in via Duomo for attempted aggravated robbery and illegal possession and carrying of weapons. Aniello Ottico, 50 years old; Luigi Mazzella, 52 years old; Salvatore D'Andolfo, 39 years old; Vincenzo Esposito, 58 years old; and Salvatore Leone, 53 years old, were all already known to the police. During a territorial control operation, the five were stopped by the carabinieri while they were lying in wait, probably waiting for a jewelry saleswoman. One was in a car, two were riding scooters and two others were on foot, armed with a gun and a switchblade, positioned so as to be able to stop the woman without losing sight of each other, and the man in the car would have picked everyone up to escape together in case of emergency. The gun turned out to be a show but without the red cap. Gloves, hats and cell phones were also seized, as well as the scooters and the car used for travel. Now they are in prison after the arrests were validated by the investigating judge.
