Center-right, first names of mayoral candidates made

Torre del Greco – Alessandra Tabernacolo, Romina Stilo, Antonio Spierto and Salvatore Quirino: these are the names of the first official candidates of the Center-Right coalition. Yesterday evening, at the Center-Right Table, the parties Forza Italia, Fratelli d'Italia, Lega (formerly Noi con Salvini) participated, with the civic lists Insieme per la Città (led by Alfonso Ascione), Lista civica Ora (composed of the Spierto-Brancaccio-Gentile-Guida group), Forza Torre of the former deputy mayor Donato Capone, and the new entries: Torre Futura (represented by Ciro Balzano and Pietro Paolo Panariello) and Movimento Torrese (with Salvatore Iacomino and Francesco Lavela). The Republican Party was absent with justification due to Roman commitments of its leaders in the composition of the lists for the March Politics.
“Alessandra Tabernacolo and Salvatore Quirino are our choice for the candidacy for mayor, but that does not change the fact that, for the principles of unity and sharing of those who are part of the coalition, we are available to evaluate other candidacies. As long as they have the characteristics of our candidates: political figures and with electoral consensus”, this is how the representatives of Fratelli d'Italia explained their position at the Roundtable last night. While, in a more direct manner, the two civic lists Forza Torre and Torre Futura supported the candidacy of Romina Stilo. Just as the civic list Ora was directed in indicating Antonio Spierto as its reference name. The civic list Insieme per la Città, on the other hand, commented that “we are for sharing the candidate, and only together can we make a name that is good for everyone. Then, the political figure in the choice of the candidate is fine, but if an agreement on the name is not found, we could also consider the possibility that the candidate comes from civil society.” The other lists and parties, on the other hand, reserved the right to later name their candidates for mayor. Before touching on the topic of mayoral candidacies, there was a first step on the constitution of the Technical Table for the government program. Luca Alini, for Fdi; Roberto Auciello, for the Ora list, Annarita Ottaviano, for the civic Insieme per la Città; Donato Capone, for Forza Torre; Michele Langella and Riccardo Loffredo, for the League; Movimento Torrese has named Salvatore Iacomino and Francesco Lavela; Torre Futura has opted for Ciro Balzano and Pietro Paolo Panariello. While Forza Italia has taken a week to communicate its names for the Technical Table that will deal with examining the following points of the government program: heritage, suburbs, sports facilities, economic and social development, social services, mobility and reorganization of the municipal organic plant. Former city councilor Ciro Piccirillo also intervened at the table in an exploratory manner, representing three civic lists: La Svolta, Terra Mia and Momento di Cambiare, who declared that "even though he also has his own name to propose to the table representing the three lists, which however will be presented when the most reliable group is chosen, despite this, I express appreciation at this juncture for the following names proposed by the table: Spierto, Tabernacolo and Quirino." The next meeting has been set for Tuesday, January 30.
