Schools in Naples will remain closed tomorrow. Mayor Luigi de Magistris has ordered the closure, and he will soon sign a special ordinance that will affect all schools in the city. The decision was made during yet another committee meeting held this morning at the Prefecture. The mayor urged Neapolitans to travel "only in cases of absolute necessity" from late this afternoon until late tomorrow morning. "With the snow and ice that will form when the sun fades," de Magistris explained, "leaving one's home is definitely avoidable, especially for cars without tires designed for ice and snow." A new operational meeting will be held at 5:00 PM at the Prefecture, attended by Naples Deputy Mayor Raffaele Del Giudice.
