The Buondì Motta commercial launched last September immediately became a case: a nice Italian family whose mother, father (and even the trusted postman), guilty of having rejected the idea that there could be a snack that could “combine lightness and deliciousness”, were stunned by an asteroid.
This ending had triggered a reaction from the (fortunately few) viewers and social networks.
Almost surprisingly, on March 17, less than a year after the first commercial, Motta chose to broadcast the definitive episode of the irreverent advertising campaign.
And it's immediately another cult spot that will surely go down in history.
The final episode begins first with the doctor in the hospital where we discover that the cheerful Buondì family is wealthy, then a priest during a funeral oration pronounces the phrase that had cost the protagonists of the previous episodes the tragic accident: "There is no snack that can combine lightness and gluttony" and the asteroid reappears, acting as a prelude to even more irreverent closing credits: "Humanity will recover as soon as possible".
