Naples. “I met with the family of the security guard who was brutally beaten in Scampia. I have government roles and I cannot just solve a problem as big as crime with repression. But I must also give answers that do not leave people in despair”. The president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, comments on the meeting he had today with the family of Francesco Della Corte, the security guard who was massacred in front of the subway station in Scampia on March 3 and died after a few days of agony. During the meeting, De Luca, together with the president of Eav Umberto De Gregorio, gave the security guard’s wife, Anna Maria, and their two children a check for 30.655 euros, the result of a collection made among the employees of the Campania transport holding and the Region and among citizens.
