Another case of child abuse has emerged at the Caivano green park, where little Fortuna Loffredo was killed after being raped. A 28-year-old man has been arrested on charges of sexual assault against his niece, a girl now 15. The victim allegedly endured prolonged abuse from her young uncle, before confiding in a friend and a social worker. An investigation was launched, resulting in the arrest of the man, a resident of Caivano's green park, the same public housing complex that has come under scrutiny for the murder of little Fortuna, the 6-year-old girl who was raped multiple times and then killed by her neighbor Raimondo Caputo, who has since been sentenced to life in prison. In today's case, the complaint was filed by the victim's mother with the Carabinieri in Casoria. Following investigations, including clinical ones, ordered by the Naples North Public Prosecutor's Office, a precautionary custody order was issued against the uncle, which was executed this morning by the military. The abuse reported by the victim allegedly occurred until March 2017, and began when the girl was less than 14 years old.
