Acerra, urban security implementation pact signed

The Pact for the Implementation of Urban Security, aimed at strengthening actions to prevent and combat widespread and predatory crime, was signed this morning by the Prefect of Naples, Carmela Pagano, and the Mayor of Acerra, Raffaele Lettieri. The Municipality of Acerra intends to strengthen its efforts to prevent and combat illegal activities in the area, in accordance with the draft agreement approved by the Municipal Council no. 92/2018. This will integrate the activities resulting from today's signing of the agreement with the video surveillance already active under the "Citta' Sicura" project (in the areas of the Urban Park, Via Spiniello, and surrounding areas) and the executive projects already implemented by the Administration. These include the limited traffic zone (ZTL) system and central and peripheral video surveillance, envisioned in the three-year public works plan of the Municipality of Acerra, and the activities related to the Justice of the Peace office and the "ASA – Ambiente & Sicurezza Acerra" project.
