Over sixty artists will perform at the Notte della Taranta concert, Europe's largest folk music festival, taking place on August 25th in Melpignano (LE).
Andrea Mirò will be the Maestro concertatore of this edition and is the second woman in twenty-one editions to lead the Orchestra popolare. "I'm in it up to my neck - she comments - I'm not one who repeats herself, just like the Notte della taranta. I will bring my background, even a bit of expressionism. I will play and sing and who knows, I might even dance".
It is the first time for rap with Clementino, for the saxophone of James Senese and the voice of Enzo Gragnaniello for a meeting Naples - pizzica salentina. And then Frank Nemola, trumpet in Vasco Rossi's band.
