These are world-class players whom Ancelotti has already coached and appreciated in his previous stints at Munich and Madrid. However, the Spanish newspaper explains that Benzema is tied to Real Madrid until 2021 and has a salary of €8.5 million. According to "AS," Real Madrid are asking for at least €50 million to begin negotiations, a figure considered excessive by the Neapolitans given that Benzema is approaching 31, not to mention his salary, which is decidedly high by the standards of De Laurentiis' club.
