The Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Castellabate has implemented, on an experimental basis, the project “Respect diversity – Unite people” to allow young people with disabilities to acquire training and work experiences. After the excellent results of the school-work alternation experiences carried out at the Municipality of Castellabate by students of the Vico-De Vivo Institute, it was decided to proceed along the same lines with related social inclusion activities that allow participants to get used to working rhythms even in the summer. This time, the young trainees will collaborate with the staff of the Informagiovani office for activities related to the information, orientation and consultancy service. Those interested must submit a membership form distributed at the Social Policy Office. The Councilor for Social Policy Elisabetta Martuscelli emphasizes: "The work activities will be carried out until September 15th inside the Informagiovani Center and the young trainees will be followed and supported by their peers. We hope that this exchange path will become an interesting stimulus for personal development for all the people involved and a positive opportunity to weave new social relationships".
