The photographic exhibition on the theme: “Cava in un Clik” ended yesterday, Sunday 24 June, created by the parents of the pupils of the Primary School of the third Didactic District of Pregiato di Cava de' Tirreni, directed by the Headmistress, Professor Raffaelina Trapanese, who deserves credit for the praiseworthy intuition in creating an original project that made the teaching staff interact with the tutor, Concetta Sorrentino, and the families.
The historical and practical indications of external experts: Livio Cav. Trapanese, for the historiographical aspect related to the vast “metelliana valley”, and Fortunato Palumbo, for the theoretical-practical use in the use of the camera, have given very broad results, fixed in the photographs taken by the parents of the students of the third Circle and in the illustrated sound ebook.
The foyer of the “Luca Barba” Theatre, in Corso Umberto I of the “City of Porticoes”, was entirely occupied by over seventy photographs, selected from the many, collected in decorous panels, made such by the parents themselves.
The constant participation of visitors, recorded during the three days of the exhibition, gave great credit to these parents, who without considering the burdens and sacrifices, wanted to leave a tangible memory to the Cava community and to the school world, to the joy of their children's future.
Excellent initiative that must absolutely be repeated in the near future, declared the Manager, as well as Councilor for Public Education of the Administration of Mayor Vincenzo Servalli, Professor Trapanese, because, thanks to this initiative, photographic memory of the historical sites and not only of our beautiful City of Cava de' Tirreni is left.
