Making fun of the president of the world's leading power with a prank call while he's on Air Force One? It's possible. Posing as New Jersey Democratic Senator Robert Menendez, comedian John Melendez managed to contact Trump on the phone Wednesday night while he was on the presidential plane. The comedian said he called the White House pretending to be an aide to the senator, left a cell phone number, and was ultimately put in touch with the president aboard Air Force One. The actor posted a recording of the conversation on his podcast, "The Stuttering John Podcast," in which a voice that appears to be Donald Trump's can be heard. "You've been through some tough times, and I think it was a little unfair, but congratulations," Trump told his interlocutor, the fake "senator," who was once prosecuted for corruption before the charges against him were finally dropped. Trump and the fake Menendez then continued their conversation, moving from the topic of immigration to the replacement of Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court. An episode that raised several questions about the security and protection system of the US president.
