The emerging and independent music festival, which draws young people from across Campania and neighboring regions, has reached its thirteenth edition, organized by Arcifelix and under the artistic direction of Tommaso Pragliola, who, as always, offers a mix of genres and promising young talent. Kicking off on Friday, July 6th, the opening night features Colapesce (the only date in Campania), a Sicilian singer-songwriter fresh off the success of his winter tour and the release of his third album, "Infedele." On the same day, guests can listen to Gigante, the new solo project by Apulian artist Ronny Gigante of Moustache Prawn, and the pop of Neapolitan band Novaffair. Saturday, July 7th, it's the turn of Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, an indie rock group formed in Bergamo in 2010 with three albums under their belt, Dunk aka Luca and Marco Giuradei, Luca Ferrari (formerly of Verdena), and Carmelo Pipitone, and Ephimera, a band from Avellino. The final event on Sunday, July 8th features Galeffi, a singer-songwriter who has been active on the Roman music scene for less than a year; Viito, two talents born on the small screen who have captivated the internet with the song "Bella come Roma"; and Katres, who released "Araba Fenice" in February after a long summer tour opening for Ermal Meta. On the program for Saturday and Sunday, DJ sets and free spritzes are available with the Aperol van's happy hour. The village will also feature a food and beverage area, an area dedicated to an illustration contest in memory of Ciccio Capasso, an artist from Scisciano who painted while listening to music, and a craft market. Over the years, the Farcisentire Festival has demonstrated its ability to uncover talent. In 2005, for example, emerging bands included I Ministri, a now wildly popular Milanese band. Past editions have also seen Motta, Marlene Kunz, Marta sui Tubi, Gnut, Massimo Volume, Perturbazione, Canova, and Giardini di Mirò perform on the Scisciano stage. Last year's headliners were The Zen Circus, who became so fond of the festival that they even credited Circum in the title track, "Il fuoco in una stanza."
