In broad daylight, taking advantage of dynamic surveillance, he evaded security checks and with great agility reached the top of the perimeter wall of the Bari prison, in a subsequent attempt to climb over the barriers and reach the external courtyards. The protagonist of this daring escape attempt was a 21-year-old inmate, who, however, became entangled in the barbed wire and was unable to reach the gap separating the perimeter wall of the Bari prison from the offices of the prison superintendent and the prison courtyards. An external security officer, noticing the escape attempt, immediately raised the alarm and arranged for the external gates of the prison to be secured. The inmate, seeing himself hunted, ceased any attempt to escape and surrendered to officers without resistance. After being medically checked, the man reported no injuries or injuries, but was sent to the psychiatric observation unit. The news was released by Co.sp, the Penitentiary Union Coordination.
