An elderly man and woman were found dead in their home in Impruneta (Florence). According to what was learned from the Carabinieri, it is a presumed double homicide that probably occurred in a family environment: the military are looking for the man's son, who is said to have mental problems. The discovery was made by another son of the man who, receiving no answers, went to his father's house, finding him dead as well as the woman who lived with him. Both had stab wounds. The man and woman found dead in their home in via Longo in Impruneta, a town in the hills around Florence, were both 69 years old. The death dates back to last night, according to initial investigations: signs of a pointed and cutting weapon were found on both bodies. The couple lived with a son of the man, who is said to have psychiatric problems, and who the Carabinieri are now looking for. The 43-year-old man the Carabinieri are looking for may have left by car after his 69-year-old father, Osvaldo Capecchi, originally from Rossano Calabro (Cosenza) and his partner, Patrizia Manetti, born in Florence in 1949, were found dead in the apartment where all three lived in via Longo in Impruneta (Florence). It seems that a car used by the family is missing. In the meantime, the deputy prosecutor of Florence Massimo Lastrucci has arrived on site, while the Carabinieri forensic team from the Tuscan capital is also working in the house. Outside the house, in a building surrounded by other buildings, is the 69-year-old's other son, who lived elsewhere and who discovered the bodies of his father and his partner this morning, shortly before midday.
