The Giallorossi club has met the requirements of the settlement agreement and, after three years, is now out of it. However, restrictions remain for Inter, who have only partially met the demands. UEFA has analyzed Inter's financial statements as of June 30, 2017: according to the European Football Federation, the Nerazzurri club has met its break-even requirement, thus closing the year at zero as expected. The club's accounts have therefore been approved, including Suning's sponsorships. The restrictions the club has not met concern the sporting area, specifically the depreciation portion related to players. Inter was, in fact, required to reduce depreciation, according to the agreement with UEFA; however, the numerous signings in recent seasons (such as Joao Mario and Gabigol) have prevented the club from meeting its obligations, with depreciation increasing rather than decreasing. For this reason, Inter will also maintain restrictions next season, such as the restriction of List A to 22 players for UEFA competitions and the requirement for balanced transfers, always with reference to the European list.
