World Refugee Day, the Sarnataro Administration promotes a round table on integration. The event, sponsored by the Municipality and organized by the Sprar network (social cooperative Lilliput and Cidis Onlus) with the collaboration of Less Onlus, will be held tomorrow morning at 10 am in the council chamber of the Municipality. The topics discussed will be immigration, reception and experimentation of new forms of coexistence between Italian and foreign citizens. "We have been working in Mugnano for years, where over time the way of welcoming has changed a lot - explains Maria Esposito, coordinator of the Sprar managed by Lilliput and Cidis - We need to discuss and understand how to best integrate new arrivals into the territory and to do so it is important to create a network between local administrations, associations, public and private bodies and obviously citizens". The event, open to all and attended by representatives of the police and schools, was desired by Mayor Luigi Sarnataro: "As a city we have always been open and welcoming towards the weakest and those who seek a new life in our country far from death, war and poverty. Precisely for this reason today it is necessary to relaunch a new action aimed at integration, especially in light of the racist policies implemented by the national government. A policy that, starting from our territory, has the objective of uniting and including in favor of a community whose multiculturalism becomes a point of strength"
