Press Release. The school year has ended and the Ceschelli Comprehensive Institute of San Giuseppe Vesuviano closes with a very positive balance and with the satisfaction of the Principal Dr. Angela Agovino: in addition to the educational results, there have been countless successes for the participation in mathematical, writing and drawing competitions, won by the students of the primary and lower secondary schools, many initiatives implemented by the classes and teachers, aimed at knowledge of the territory and history, the promotion of respect for the environment and legality but also of art in all its forms and genres. In the wake of the teachings on which this suburban Institute focuses, the students of the third classes before being engaged in the exams, gave life to an event full of meaning: "Gemelli Contro", a day of sport and music against gender violence and all forms of bullying and racism, and therefore for legality. The boys, coordinated by Prof. Vittorio Ambrosio, at the end of an interdisciplinary path followed by the teachers of the third grade, challenged each other in a men's and women's volleyball tournament, and then played a mixed team final, but the important thing was not the competition but rather getting the message across, printed in clear letters on the students' t-shirts, loud and clear: A SPLASH AGAINST BULLYING. The aim is to overcome together every barrier that makes others see themselves as "different" and put integration into practice in all fields, as every school should do. Accompanying the event held in the gym on Via Ciferi were many colorful posters, readings of passages dedicated to the topic addressed, and lots of music. When a school is truly inclusive, committed to welcoming, attentive and active in dealing with hardship and disability, then the young people who are taught the true values of life will be better adults tomorrow. Furthermore, the 3rd grade classes of the lower secondary school concluded their cycle with the theatrical performance “Io speranza che me la cavo”, led by the project’s reference teachers, prof.sse Maria Antonia Cortile and Lucia Marciano. A brilliant and entertaining show, but at the same time profound; the same student-actors were in fact passionate about the text, because, confident in the triumph of justice and good over evil, they wanted to send a positive and hopeful message. Equally successful was the show of the 5th grade classes of the Casilli primary school, coordinated by the teacher Patrizia Casillo.
