Naples. The Court of Appeal has annulled the precautionary measure that on May 30th had hit the boss of the Amato-Pagano clan, Mariano Riccio and Lucio Carriola in prison, accused together with six others of the triple homicide of Francesco Russo the Doberman, 50 years old, his son Ciro, 30, and Vincenzo Moscatelli, 47, which occurred in 2009 in Mugnano. Due to Riccio's alleged involvement, the judges of the Liberties have ordered the transfer of the file to the Juvenile Court. At the time of the facts - the crime was committed on March 15, 2009 - Riccio had not yet reached the age of majority. Therefore, everything had to be redone. The order for Lucio Carriola was instead annulled. On May 30, the Naples DDA had obtained the arrests in prison of Carmine Amato, 37, detained in the Viterbo prison; Cesare Pagano, 48, detained in the Cuneo prison; Francesco Biancolella, 66, from Mugnano (the only one free); Lucio Carriola, 43, detained in the Terni prison; Mario Riccio, 26, from Mugnano, detained in the same prison; Oscar Pecorelli, 39, in prison in Tolmezzo; Oreste Sparano, 32, detained in the prison of L'Aquila. The instigator of the murder is said to be the repentant boss Antonio Lo Russo who, according to the other repentant Biagio Esposito, had asked the group of his wedding friend Cesare Pagano for the "courtesy" of eliminating the Doberman who was becoming too autonomous. The Review Court also ruled in favor of two of those investigated for the murder of Vincenzo Zambrano, known as "'o Spagnolo", killed on July 28, 2009, again as part of the alliance between the Lo Russo clan and the Amato-Pagano clan. For that crime, again at the end of last May, Cesare Pagano, Oscar Pecorelli, Antonio Lo Russo, Biagio Esposito, Antonio Esposito known as "Quagliarella" and Giuseppe D'Ercole known as "Lione" ended up in handcuffs. For Antonio Esposito and Giuseppe D'Ercole the Review Court decided to confirm the precautionary measure. Zambrano was a man of the Amato-Pagano clan and, according to the reconstruction of the public prosecution, the heads of the two allied clans, the Lo Russos and the Amato-Paganos, decided to kill him.
