A 22-year-old student, Rosaria Lobascio from Sala Consilina, died last night after feeling unwell. A few days ago, the young woman had undergone stomach reduction surgery at the Mercato San Severino hospital in the province of Salerno, and was recovering at home, apparently without any particular discomfort. Last night, however, she felt unwell: her family transported her back to the Mercato San Severino hospital, where she died shortly thereafter. The cause of death is unclear: her family recently filed a complaint with the Carabinieri, requesting an investigation to determine any possible culpability.
