Naples. The hunt is on for the accomplice of Luigi Capriello, the 31-year-old arrested yesterday by police after the robbery and kidnapping committed the other night at a pizzeria in Loggetta. The man was alerted by the ringing of a cell phone he had stolen from one of the victims, an employee of the pizzeria. He was located on Via Giustiniano, hiding behind a gate. Someone saw him and called 113. Nearby, there was a scooter with a warm engine and a cell phone that kept ringing. An officer responded to the call, and a person said he was the owner of the device that had been stolen shortly before. A patrol of the area found Capriello hiding behind a gate. The man had earlier robbed the pizzeria "Pizzica e Fuije" with an accomplice. The two entered the establishment but found no customers, so they locked the four employees in a closet before demanding the takings and their money, including gold items and smartphones. Capriello was identified by the employee whose cell phone he had taken and also by footage from the establishment's video surveillance system.
