The Avvocata municipal police unit discovered a warehouse of stolen motorcycles in the narrow streets of Pignasecca. Following investigations and enforcement activities initiated following an incident that occurred a few days ago, when a truck carrying motorcycles attempted to enter the narrow streets of the Pignasecca market area, municipal officers identified a ground-floor building at the intersection of Vico II Montecalvario and Vico San Sepolcro used for storing stolen motorcycles and various motorcycle spare parts. The building, previously used as a mechanical workshop and seized for environmental crimes, was being used by a repeat offender currently under a precautionary measure requiring him to report to the judicial police. The warehouse was seized, the motorcycles were returned to their rightful owners, and the user was charged with receiving stolen goods at the request of the prosecutor on duty.
