Two years after his passing, residents and artisans, together with associations in Naples' Spanish neighborhoods, remembered Neapolitan actor Bud Spencer, who starred alongside Terence Hill in numerous 70s films. The informal, popular ceremony was also attended by Sebastiano Pigazzi, nephew of Carlo Pedersoli, Bud Spencer's real name, who, after unveiling the work, thanked the initiative's promoters. "Now," said one of the commemoration's organizers, "just as is being done with other illustrious citizens and artists of Naples, let's dedicate a street to him, perhaps in this neighborhood that was the location of numerous filmings of films—for us Neapolitans, unforgettable—starring Bud Spencer as Piedone lo sbirro."
