They miss the plane and run on the runway to catch up, fined

They entered the runway with the intention of reaching an EasyJet plane about to depart for Naples. The protagonists of the incident, which occurred on Monday evening at Venice's Marco Polo airport, were an Italian couple; the two forced the door of gate 7, thus setting off the alarm. The couple was traveling with their two minor children: they had all passed security checks and were in possession of a valid plane ticket. It seems that the four were significantly late and had no intention of missing the plane, so they looked for a shortcut to reach it. However, the prank cost each adult a fine of 2074 euros.
