The Carabinieri in Naples discovered a "single-row" cannabis plantation in Vico Equense. This cultivation method was used to make the Cannabis indica plants less visible from a distance. They were planted in rows rather than in plots, following the paths that climb the seaward slopes of the Lattari Mountains, looking toward the beach near Sperlonga. The Carabinieri seized 570 plants: between one and one and a half meters tall, they were all in an advanced stage of growth. The Carabinieri Helicopter Unit from Pontecagnano participated in the operation. The police are continuing their investigation to identify the plantation's owners.
