Sorrento – The countdown is on for the tenth edition of the "Biagio Agnes Award," which will take place in Sorrento on Friday, June 22nd and Saturday, June 23rd. Guests at the closing ceremony, which will be broadcast late on Wednesday, June 27th on Rai1, will include Il Volo, Ermal Meta, the dancers from "Dancing with the Stars," and Dodi Battaglia.
Receiving the award on the stage of Marina Grande were Jèrome Fenoglio, director of Le Monde (International Award), Paolo Mieli and Ezio Mauro (Decennial Award), Adriana Cerretelli of Il Sole 24 Ore (Journalist Award for Europe), Antonio Tajani, President of the EU Parliament (Journalist in the Institutions Award), Barbara Stefanelli, deputy director of Corriere della Sera (Printed Paper Award), “Il ruggito del coniglio” historic Rai Radio Due broadcast hosted by Antonello Dose and Marco Presta (Radio Award), Alberto Brambilla of Il Foglio (Under 35 Award), Antonio Monda (Journalist Writer Award) and Gloria Satta (Cinema and Fiction Award). Three special prizes were awarded in this edition: to Milly Carlucci for her television career, to Michelle Hunziker for the success achieved in the latest edition of the Sanremo Festival and to Luca Zingaretti for the record ratings of Inspector Montalbano, the most followed fiction in Italy.
The award program also includes two days of meetings and debates, which will be held at 17.30:22 pm in the Tasso room of the Municipality of Sorrento.
