On Saturday 30 June and Sunday 1 July, starting at 21.00:XNUMX pm, young Italian female poetry will be the protagonist in Calabria, in the historic centre of Villapiana.
The first edition of Kultazione – Festival of Italian female poetry. Poetess born since 1990 (www.kultazione.it) is organized by Macabor Editore with the patronage of the municipality of Villapiana (CS).
Five young poets are the protagonists this year: Ilaria Caffio, Clery Celeste, Maria Girardi, Giulia Martini and the young poet from Campania Eleonora Rimolo. Together with them, two important guests: the French poet Laure Gauthier and the Milanese poet and critic Marco Vitale. The participation of Marta Celio, Pino Corbo, Gianni Mazzei, Gabriella Serrone, Emilia Sirangelo and Mara Venuto is also expected.
Eleonora Rimolo was born in Salerno in 1991 and lives in Nocera Inferiore. She is a PhD student in “Literary Studies” at the University of Salerno. She has published a novel, Amare le parole, Litedition 2013, and three collections of poems: Dell'assenza e della presenza Matisklo 2013, La resa dei giorni, AlterEgo, 2015 (First Prize “Europa in versi 2016”) and Temeraria gioia, Giuliano Ladolfi, 2017, preface by Gabriella Sica, First Prize “Pascoli- L'ora di Barga”, Finalist “Premio Fogazzaro”, 90rd place “Premio Fiumicino”, 2018nd place “Aoros Valerio Castiello” Prize). Her texts have been included in the anthology Un verde più nuovo dell'erba – Poetesse millenial degli anni '30, LietoColle, 21 edited by Bonifacio Vincenzi. Some of her poems have been translated into Spanish by the Centro Cultural Tina Modotti and by Mario Pera for the magazine Vallejo&Co. She is the editorial director of “Atelier”. There will be two days in which the beautiful historic center of this small and suggestive town in Calabria will become the perfect setting to underline the value of young Italian poetry of our time. On Saturday XNUMX June at XNUMX pm the Festival will be opened by the Councilor for Tourism Stefania Celeste and the mayor of Villapiana Paolo Montalti. Subsequently Mara Venuto, Pino Corbo, Gianni Mazzei, Marta Celio and Emilia Sirangelo will converse respectively with the young poets Ilaria Caffio, Clery Celeste, Maria Girardi, Giulia Martini, Eleonora Rimolo.
All conversations will be preceded by a performance by Rosy Parrotta and the “Khoreia 2000” Theatre Company inspired by the books of the young protagonists.
The program for Sunday 1st July includes conversations between Gabriella Serrone and the French poet Laure Gauthier, between Bonifacio Vincenzi and the poet Marco Vitale; the related performances by Rosy Parrotta and the “Khoreia 2000” Theatre Company; and the reading of some poems by Placido Bonifacio.
The second part of the evening will feature a Conversation/Reading between poets Ilaria Caffio, Clery Celeste, Maria Girardi, Giulia Martini and Eleonora Rimolo. At the end of the evening, the Mayor of Villapiana Paolo Montalti will officially close the first edition of the Festival.
The timing of the Kultazione – Festival of Italian female poetry. Female poets born since 1990 will be dictated by the guiding Voice of the creator and artistic director of the Festival, Bonifacio Vincenzi.
