Scafati, 50-year-old female stalker harassed and threatened a man: precautionary measure

This morning, at the conclusion of an investigation coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor's Office, State Police officers belonging to the Nocera Inferiore Public Safety Police Station executed a prohibition order against a "stalker" who was responsible for a series of acts of persecution against a man resident in Nocera. The woman, a fifty-year-old resident of Scafati, had, during 2017, for sentimental reasons, carried out a series of behaviors consisting of continuous telephone harassment to the detriment of a peer from Nocera Inferiore. For these facts, in October 2017, the Police Chief of the Province of Salerno, at the request of the interested party, had issued a Warning against the woman. Despite this, the woman, in the period between March and May 2018, committed a series of stalking acts, raising the level of harm with intimidation consisting of repeated threats against the victim and some family members. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Nocera inferiore, sharing the evidentiary framework collected
by the State Police on the basis of the complaints presented, therefore requested the issuing of a precautionary measure and the Preliminary Investigations Judge ordered a ban on approaching and frequenting the places habitually frequented by the victim, a measure notified this morning.
