Following the findings of an investigation conducted by the Guardia di Finanza, the Court of Vallo della Lucania has ordered, at the request of this Public Prosecutor's Office, the precautionary seizure of assets and sums of money totaling over €100 against a self-styled magician from Capaccio-Paesturn and her family.
The precautionary measure issued by the Judicial Authority came at the end of a complex economic-financial police investigation conducted by the Military of the Agropoli Company from which it emerged that the self-styled witch had stolen the good faith of a lady from the Agropoli area by having her hand over over 100 thousand euros which then ended up in the current accounts of the "witch" and her children.
In particular, the Guardia di Finanza confirmed that the witch had convinced the victim that the latter's family had been the object of "spells", "evil eye" and other "paranormal phenomena" that would have even led to the imminent death of the Agropoli woman's son.
Not at all ensnared by the "paranormal arts", however, the Finance Police seized, by order of the Judiciary, an apartment, bank accounts and insurance policies registered to the entire family unit of the self-styled witch.
