Boscotrecase. Shooting at the wedding: the two suspects arrested. Luigi Fiore, the man wounded in the shoulder by a bullet fired from the weapon allegedly held by ML, a member of the Limelli-Vangone clan, was arrested. Fiore was arrested because he had three months remaining on his sentence under house arrest and therefore could not attend the ceremony. While still in the hospital, he was served with an arrest warrant.
The man who shot, a criminal with ties to the Boscotrecase Camorra, had instead tried to disappear. Yesterday, however, the arrest warrant issued by prosecutor Antonella Lauri of the Torre Annunziata prosecutor's office allowed the carabinieri to arrest him: tomorrow he will be before the magistrate for validation. According to the accounts of some witnesses, it was he who grabbed the gun and fired. But investigators are trying to reconstruct exactly how the raid unfolded. ML was not the only armed person at the ceremony. Other people near the gunmen were also seen with guns. This is why investigators want to get to the bottom of things, going beyond the witness accounts. They are also looking for videos that may have captured the armed people. The 'scene' arose because some children at both ceremonies were at the poolside and some guests at the communion, who were a little too lively, were called upon by the guests to be more careful, especially to avoid ending up in the pool. But the good-natured reminder would have been interpreted by the children and their parents as an affront. Another special surveillance officer, father of one of the minors, and considered to be affiliated with the Limelli-Vangone clan of Boscotrecase, particularly resented it. First the verbal argument, then the attempt, initially successful, to calm both the man and his friends and relatives – some of whom had criminal records and were believed to be close to the clans. In the evening, however, something went wrong. ML allegedly approached Fiore and opened fire, wounding him.
