He first rammed him while riding a scooter, then, after causing the accident, stabbed him to death. A street crime occurred in Sanremo, where a 65-year-old man, Fernando Foschini, was stabbed to death this evening by a man who is currently wanted by the police, as confirmed by investigators. The incident occurred around 7:00 PM on Via Padre Semeria: Foschini, riding a scooter, was approached and knocked to the ground by a second scooter. The driver, a man in his 40s, caused the man to swerve, then approached and fatally stabbed him, before fleeing immediately on the scooter. A passerby witnessed the incident, and his testimony is now being examined by law enforcement. Despite attempts to rescue the 65-year-old, nothing could be done. Foschini worked as a bartender in the area. Officers from the Imperia Police Headquarters arrived on the scene and began an investigation, releasing the license plate of the vehicle in which the killer fled. The suspect is believed to be a 39-year-old bricklayer, known locally. According to investigators, the man had known the victim since around 2010, and the two had a history of conflict, including several arguments that escalated into a violent episode. Foschini had fired several shots at the alleged killer over a history of debts between the two, and the matter had ended in court.
