A dispute related to forced cohabitation between siblings is believed to have led to yesterday's murder in Noicattaro, in which 56-year-old Vincenzo Cafagna was strangled to death. His brother, Vito Sante, was reportedly the one who killed him, and was later arrested almost in the act on charges of voluntary manslaughter. According to reports, the victim lived with three siblings and his elderly mother. Vincenzo and two others slept in the same room, and the clutter, the accumulation of suitcases and clothes in a small space, and the difficult coexistence in such small spaces are believed to have caused the sibling dispute. Vincenzo and Vito allegedly began arguing, and a third sibling initially separated them. However, the argument continued in another room of the house, ending in tragedy. The Carabinieri of the Triggiano Company, coordinated by the prosecutor Baldo Pisani, are verifying witness statements to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident.
