At the forty-eighth edition of the Giffoni Film Festival, which will be held from July 20 to 28, a musical program structured and dedicated to the general public that will frequent Giffoni. You will have the opportunity to be not only spectators but also protagonists of the events scheduled. A new innovative format, participatory and emotional, totally free, which also expresses the "new" Giffoni from this aspect.
Among the artists expected on the Giffoni Music Concept stage: Max Gazzè, Ermal Meta, Ultimo, Annalisa, Fabrizio Moro, Benji and Fede, Vegas Jones, Enzo Avitabile, Lodovica Comello, Federica Abbate, Quentin40, Luca Barbarossa, Il Pagante, Diodato, Livio Cori, Eva, Mirkoeilcane, Lorenzo Baglioni, Viito, Foja and Lello Tramma.
The rich musical program will combine great live performances, a rap contest and three types of masterclasses: Music, with the artists who will perform in Piazza Fratelli Lumière in the evening and will tell their stories to the young people who make up the section; Talking about music, with experts in the music sector such as Dario Giovannini (Carosello Records), Clemente Zard (Vivo Concerti), Don Joe (producer and DJ), Francesco Barbaro (OTR live); Radio with exponents of the radio world such as Giuseppe Cruciani, Max Brigante, Trio Medusa, Diletta Leotta, Gli Autogol and many others who will tell their stories and reveal the secrets of one of the most successful means of communication even among the new generations.
The masterclassers will therefore have the opportunity to discuss with artists and experts on the various aspects of the music business, in addition to fully experiencing the emotions and fun of the numerous and eagerly awaited live shows. Many artists will also be protagonists of the Meet The Stars: the opportunity for everyone to finally get to know and see their idols up close.
There are two shows that will bring together jurors, Giffoners, families and the public around the stage in Piazza Lumière every evening:

A very special Masterclass will then be the one reserved for parents to understand the language of Millennials through indie, rap and trap music: the objective of this Parental Experience event – section dedicated to families – will be to tell adults about the origins, reasons and keys to the success that rap and independent music have among young people.
Finally, the highly anticipated #giffonirapcontest2018, the musical spin-off of the Giffoni Music Concept, the first competition reserved exclusively for rap, urban and trap artists selected by Max Brigante and Don Joe. Among the 120 proposals received, 4 artists from Campania and 4 national artists were selected for the final of the contest: Sick Real ft Stilli Stix (Pordenone)- Alex Mav (Salerno) – Mikeseug (Siano, SA), Paradise (Trento), Soldier + Hangover (Salerno), Olohoma (Potenza), Young Henry (Salerno), Drum Niraq (Lamezia Terme, CZ)
Among the media partners of the Giffoni Film Festival are also Radio 105, which will broadcast every day, live from the Cittadella del Cinema and the Multimedia Valley, and Rockol, which will follow and tell the ten intense days of #Giffoni2018 on the web.
