To the employees of Fiat in Melfi, we want to express our full support for your struggle and for the survival of your plants and jobs following the decisions to invest a considerable amount of euros in the promotion of the reference football team of the Fiat group, through the purchase and signing of a famous foreign footballer. We believe that we are faced with an all-Italian paradox, where while the workers of FCA and CNH Industrial have continued to be asked for years to make enormous economic sacrifices, the same company decides to spend hundreds of millions of euros to buy a footballer. The Movimento Nazionale della Sovranità Partenopeo – Salvini Premier, gives full support to the decision to strike for two days from 22 pm on Sunday 15 July, until 6 am on Tuesday 17 July, and we ask, through a letter that we will send to the Prefect of Naples, to launch an appropriate negotiation regarding the future of the employees. We express our full solidarity with you and your families who are experiencing difficult times and we wish you great success in your battle to protect your job, family dignity and to be Italian citizens.
