Acerra. “If you really need it, the fight succeeds, if you have food, fear screws you over”. Antonietta Terracciano, known as Consiglia Terracciano, a historic leader of the unemployed and homeless movement, died yesterday morning. She became a symbol for the city after a life spent fighting for work and public housing. This morning her funeral will be held in the church of Sant'Alfonso. Many messages of condolence have arrived from the Neapolitan struggle movements. Consiglia was 68 years old, she was the wife of Michele Castaldo, one of the founders of the first organized movement of the unemployed in the province of Naples and the daughter of an activist of the Italian Communist Party, Girolamo Terracciano.
