As part of the increasingly consolidated interoperability with foreign databases and the high level of collaboration achieved with the corresponding law enforcement agencies by the Central Criminal Police Directorate (Scip) of the Central Criminal Police Directorate, another foreign fugitive present in Italy was arrested today. Following investigations conducted by the Interpol Division of the Criminalpol International Police Cooperation Service (SIDAC), Carabinieri officers from the Caiazzo Station in the province of Caserta, in the Piana di Monte Verna area, arrested Predrag Petrovic, born in 1971, a Serbian-Montenegrin national. Already under house arrest for numerous crimes committed in Italy, Petrovic is wanted internationally for extradition to Serbia, having been subject to an arrest warrant issued by the Belgrade Court for murder committed in his homeland. Petrovic was immediately taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison to await his subsequent extradition.
