Arzano. The municipality does not control, municipal housing illegally occupied. The Arzano case on the table of the Prefect Carmela Pagano. Perhaps the longa manus of the Pagano clan. An ugly story that is coming out in these hours and that will surely end up in the hands of the Prefect of Naples Carmela Pagano and the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples given the extent of the affair. Even more serious if political-administrative omissions were to emerge in this ugly story. About ten housing units acquired by the municipal heritage about two years ago and even transcribed to the registry of the Revenue Agency, illegally occupied for months without anyone from the municipality imposing control with the verification of the occupants. So much so that some of the apartments are currently available to families gravitating towards the circles of the Secondigliano scissioni clan. A snub that demonstrates how in the municipality dissolved twice for Camorra in 2008 and 2015, nothing has changed. Housing worth over 2 million euros acquired by the municipal heritage after a long dispute and yet, up until now, no one from the municipality seems to have intervened to clear the apartments and issue a public notice as the law requires. And now many are wondering if there is a well-founded doubt that someone in Arzano is "afraid" of the Camorra, of retaliation or even worse (but we are in the realm of hypotheses), that inside and outside the municipality there are those who want to directly or indirectly protect subjects considered organic to the clans. In fact, the very release of the concessions for the building in via Atellana decreed the arrest of the former director of urban planning, and a former municipal councilor and the entrepreneur himself were investigated. A situation that certifies the vulnerability of the municipality with respect to the expansionist aims of the Camorra.
