Carabinieri officers from the Boscoreale station, conducting an operation to combat widespread illegal activity in the "Piano Napoli" area, reported a 50-year-old local man, already known to law enforcement (for drug-related offenses), at large for illegal possession of a firearm, and his 25-year-old son, also with a criminal record for similar offenses, for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. During a search of the couple's home, officers found and seized a plastic bag containing 12,5 grams of marijuana, a single-barreled shotgun with its serial number removed, and a 7,5 caliber cartridge.
