A serious traffic accident occurred late this evening on Via Acton in Castellammare di Stabia. Four young people riding two motorcycles collided on a curve near the Maricorderia factory. The impact was extremely violent. The four, including a young woman, were thrown from their motorcycles and crashed to the ground. Those who witnessed the incident thought it was a movie, but unfortunately it was all real. One of the injured, the young woman, is in critical condition and was taken by ambulance to San Leonardo Hospital in Castellammare di Stabia and is in intensive care. Another of the injured was also transported to the same hospital. Another injured person with a head injury was transported by ambulance to Cardarelli Hospital in Naples, and the fourth injured person was taken to Boscotrecase Hospital. Law enforcement is on site to conduct investigations and determine the circumstances and responsibilities behind the accident.
