Castellammare. The motorcyclist who, riding his Yamaha 600 last night in via Acton, collided with the motorbike on which Nicola De Martino (who died yesterday morning) and his girlfriend Mina Raia (hospitalized in serious conditions at Cardarelli) were travelling is being investigated for road homicide. He is the 28-year-old from Santa Maria la Carità, Gerardo Castellano, who is hospitalized with some non-serious injuries at Boscotrecase hospital. According to an initial reconstruction carried out by the Stabia municipal police, who carried out the inspections, the Yamaha, taking via Acton in the direction of Pozzano, invaded the other lane, violently impacting the Scarabeo on which Nicola De Martino and his girlfriend Mina Raiola, from Stabia but living in Pimonte, were travelling. The consequences of the impact were devastating. Now Mina is also in desperate conditions at Cardarelli where her boyfriend Nicola died late yesterday morning while Marianna Amodio, Gerardo's girlfriend, is still hospitalized in intensive care but in Castellammare. By a strange twist of fate, Nicola had changed his profile picture on his Facebook page just a few hours before the accident, posting a photo of him and Mina at the port of Castellammare. From there, after having a frugal dinner, they then set off for a motorbike ride towards Pozzano. And on the way back Nicola found death.
