You have made me, my family and my friends and neighbors – all honest and respectable people – live a real nightmare!
In just over an hour, you broke into the home of a priest, into the home of a young couple, who earn their living with honesty and sacrifice and into the apartment of an 83-year-old man, who lives on a pension earned by breaking his back, while he slept unaware and peacefully in his bed! You were able to keep awake a neighborhood, until some time ago, among the most peaceful and safe in all of Castellammare!”. Thus begins the outburst of Don Raimondo Di Rienzo, parish priest of the church of San Nicola dei Miri in Gragnano who was robbed last night by thieves together with two other residents of the same building in Castellammare.
The post of the parish priest, who also posted some images of the thieves' passage, went viral in a few hours: "You took away a little money and some objects - continues Don Raimondo - but you disturbed the serenity of honest people! You ransacked those 35 square meters where I live ... you scared my big cat away (who luckily for you came back to me; scared, but he came back into my arms!) and took away, together with that little money - which was not mine, but was supposed to help those who live poverty with dignity - and some relics, the aspergillum with holy water, the bottle with blessed oil, a stole! But what did you think you would find in the house of a priest?!?
What did you think you'd find in a retired person's house?!? What did you think you'd find in a young couple's house?!?
I don't know what use your meager booty will be to you, but know that only what is earned by the sweat of one's brow bears fruit!
