Castellammare di Stabia. Mina Raia is fighting for her life after being involved in the accident on Thursday evening along Via Acton. The 35-year-old, however, does not know that her boyfriend died just over 10 hours after the terrible impact near the Castellammare Terme station. The girl from Pimonte, hospitalized at the Cardarelli hospital in Naples, is responding well to the doctors' treatments but is still in a reserved prognosis. However, there is a slight optimism about her clinical conditions. That evening, the woman was riding her scooter with her boyfriend Nicola, who lives in the northern outskirts of the city, when she found herself facing the motorbike driven by Gerardo Castellano, a 26-year-old from Santa Maria la Carità, investigated for road homicide, who was travelling in the opposite direction in the company of his girlfriend Marianna. The 27-year-old girl is also in critical condition. She is currently hospitalized at the San Leonardo hospital in Castellammare but there is also optimism about her case and she could be declared out of danger in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the investigation by the Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office continues with the agents of the Municipal Police of the city of waters who are reconstructing the dynamics of the accident. According to the first findings, the 26-year-old's motorcycle invaded the opposite lane, colliding with the scooter driven by Nicola De Martino with Mina Raia. Nicola's body is under seizure pending the autopsy.
