Castellammare. Over 20 fines were issued by the municipal police stationed in Pozzano over the weekend. Four patrols in the morning and two in the afternoon, led by Commander Antonio Vecchione, patrolled Via Panoramica and Via Acton to continue the efforts to combat illegal parking along the seaside roads. This deployment involved 24 officers on duty throughout the area to combat illegal parking and issue fines to illegally parked vehicles.
“The work to restore legality in the Stabia area continues,” says Gaetano Cimmino, mayor of Castellammare di Stabia. “In synergy with the municipal police, we are monitoring the city’s critical points to discourage any form of crime in our area and to pursue the goal of ensuring safety and liveability in Castellammare. I would like to thank Commander Vecchione and the municipal police officers for the excellent work they have done and for their daily commitment to the area. At the same time, the patrols in the city’s main squares and near the Cassa Armonica continue, and will soon be implemented with new patrols in other squares in the center and in the neighborhoods.”
