A 24-year-old woman died last night after dining at a restaurant in the Pisa area following a severe allergic reaction that caused her to suffer severe respiratory distress while she was in the car with her boyfriend. The victim, Chiara Ribechini, from Navacchio, a hamlet in the municipality of Cascina in the province of Pisa, died while emergency medical services were treating her. The woman always took medication to manage her reactions, but last night, despite taking it, it was not enough to save her. Her body has been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the University of Pisa for judicial review, and the prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the incident. It is highly likely that an autopsy will also be ordered. According to reports, Chiara Ribechini had previously frequented the restaurant where she dined last night. However, it is possible that the prosecutor's office will order further investigations into the restaurant and the raw materials used in its preparation.
