Vico Equense: From Naples to the Sorrento Peninsula in search of stereo systems. Carabinieri arrest two young men. They had robbed three cars in one day. Carabinieri officers from the Vico Equense station, assisted by colleagues from Naples, executed a house arrest order issued by the Torre Annunziata investigating judge. Luciano Branni, a 27-year-old from Via Claudio Miccoli, already known to law enforcement and currently detained in Poggioreale on another charge, and his accomplice, Giovanni Focaccio, a 26-year-old from Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi, who also has a criminal record, were arrested.
Investigations carried out by the Vico Equense Station also through the analysis of public and private video surveillance footage provide irrefutable evidence of the guilt of the 2 who on March 1st, during the day, after arriving in the area on board a Musa, had started driving around the town and spotted three cars parked in different places.

Then, in one case by breaking the driver's side deflector and in the other two by preventing remote locking with some electronic system under investigation, they had stolen from the cars as many stereo systems complete with satellite navigation, an iPad and other material, for a total value of about 2.500 euros. After the formal procedures Branni remained locked up in the District Prison while Focaccio was placed under house arrest in his home.
