Former senator Marcello Dell'Utri left Rebibbia prison this morning after the surveillance court decided yesterday to grant him a deferred sentence for serious health reasons.
Dell'Utri will be placed under house arrest. The Court, accepting the lawyers' request, ordered the deferral of the sentence for the former Forza Italia senator, detained to serve a sentence of seven years for mafia association. The measure was apparently adopted due to the health problems that Dell'Utri suffers from.
